Collada WebGL Testing


Experiments are always being undertaken, and they will, on occasion, produces interesting results. This was an attempt to create an interactive interface between products being created and the client. The intention was to output a model of a product or space, with textures, into a format capable of being rendered within a web browser. The browser interface allows for the end user, in this case the client, to rotate around and zoom into the model.
The team hoped a tool such as this could allow for a stronger connection between the object being designed and the one receiving the eventual object.
The prototype interface is shown below, with a separately-rendered final image of the same model above.
